Is this just PowerPoint software training?
No. If you are looking for software training in how to use PowerPoint, we recommend LinkedIn Learning or other similar services. Present Your Story will teach you advanced techniques for working faster and more efficiently in PowerPoint, but more importantly, you will learn how to communicate more visually and with fewer words as you create professional-level slides without bullet points. We assume attendees will have at least an intermediate-level understanding of PowerPoint, but we are always happy to answer specific software questions. We do not want you leaving any of our trainings with any question unanswered.
Will there be a recording?
Yes. We provide a recording of all trainings available for 30 days. Extended access to recordings is available for additional fees.
Do you offer personalized coaching?
Yes. We offer “Office Hours” sessions for small groups as an add-on to any training. In addition to our design services, we also offer one-on-one and organization consulting services for presentation and data visualization. Drop us a line to learn more.
Do you train in Tableau, PowerBI, Python, etc.?
No. Present Your Data teaches best practices for data visualization and storytelling that are applicable to any data software, but it is taught in the context of Microsoft Office where you will learn specific techniques for working better in PowerPoint and Excel.
Do you train in Keynote, Google Slides, Canvas, etc.?
No. We focus our training on the industry-standard software which is PowerPoint. As someone who has consulted for Microsoft on the development of PowerPoint for years, Nolan will teach you things you never knew were possible. But above all Present Your Story will teach you best practices and industry secrets for creating and communicating with slides, so the majority of the material will absolutely apply to any slideware.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, for multiple sessions when booked at the same time.
Do you offer in-person training?
Absolutely. Covid has made us exceptionally good at training remotely, but we still believe there is no substitute for in-person learning where we can cover more material and exercises and cater more directly to attendee questions and needs.

Do you offer public trainings for individuals?
